PREMIO AGAPITO GONZÁLEZ - 2018
GANADORA 2018 - DR. MIFLORA GATCHALIAN 
En reconocimiento de su brillante carrera y su contribución por más de 35 años con IMECCA para el enriquecimiento del Programa de Evaluación Sensorial, siendo ponente en 18 Congresos en México y trabajando conjuntamente con IMECCA, el Ing. Agapito González y el Dr. James Harrington, entre otros especialistas, en la fundación y operación de la APQO.
MENSAJE DE ACEPTACIÓN Es un gran honor para mí recibir el PREMIO AGAPITO GONZALEZ PARA EL FOMENTO DE CALIDAD 2018. Agradezco a IMECCA y al Comité de Premios por este honor. Este PREMIO es personalmente muy importante para mí porque el ING. AGAPITO es mi IDOLO. No solo era un perfecto caballero, sino también un hombre con un gran corazón y amor por sus semejantes, especialmente por los pobres y los desfavorecidos. ¡Por eso mi esposo el Dr. JOSE GATCHALIAN lo admiraba y respetaba tanto !. AMBOS Ing. Agapito y el Dr. José creían firmemente que la calidad comienza con las personas y, por lo tanto, los empleados de arriba a abajo deben aprender a HACER DE LA CALIDAD UNA FORMA DE VIDA EN EL HOGAR Y EN EL TRABAJO. Esta filosofía fue introducida por ING. AGAPITO en México ya en los años 70. La atención se centró en la mejora continua de la calidad con énfasis en fomentar la armonía entre los empleados en el lugar de trabajo. El Ing. AGAPITO FUE MUY APRECIADO EN MÉXICO Y EN LOS PAÍSES LATINOS VECINOS Y EN ASIA. Me siento realmente alagada por ser incluida entre aquellos que ya fueron honrados con el PREMIO AGAPITO GONZALEZ PARA EL FOMENTO A LA CALIDAD. Una vez más, agradezco a IMECCA y al Comité de Premios por seleccionarme para recibir este honor tan SINGULAR en el 23 ° Congreso Latinoamericano de Calidad. - - - - Justificación de 7 puntos del Comité de Premios para otorgar el premio AGAPITO GONZALEZ a la DR. ACCEPTANCE SPEECH I am greatly honored to be the 2018 recipient of the AGAPITO GONZALEZ AWARD FOR QUALITY PROMOTION. I thank IMECCA and the Awards Committee for this honor. This AWARD is personally very important to me because ING. AGAPITO is my IDOL. He was not only a perfect gentleman but he was also a man with a great heart and love for his fellowmen especially the poor and the under-privileged. This is why my husband Dr. JOSE GATCHALIAN admired and respected him so much!. BOTH Ing. Agapito and Dr. Jose strongly believed that quality starts with people and, therefore, the employees from top to bottom must be taught to MAKE QUALITY A WAY OF LIFE AT HOME AND AT WORK . This philosophy was introduced by ING. AGAPITO in Mexico as early as the ’70s. The focus was on continual quality improvement with emphasis on fostering harmony among employees in the workplace. Ing. AGAPITO WAS MUCH LOVED IN MEXICO AND IN NEIGHBORING LATIN COUNTRIES and ASIA. I am truly overwhelmed to be included with those already honored through the AGAPITO GONZALEZ AWARD FOR QUALITY PROMOTION. Again, I thank IMECCA and the Awards Committee for selecting me to receive this SINGULAR honor at the 23rd Latin American Quality Congress - - - - The Awards Committee’s 7-point justification for giving the AGAPITO GONZALEZ award to DR.
